Gear up for a special outdoor experience with Foray NL. Taking place September 2nd to 4th 2026 at Camp Starrigan. The 2026 Newfoundland mushroom and lichen foray is an annual survey to develop a list and collection of what species live across the island.

This annual Foray NL event is a great way for you to connect with others while learning about mushrooms and lichens. No experience is required, but a healthy curiosity for the natural world is encouraged.

The cost is $360 per person for the weekend which includes meals, accomodation, workshops, presentations and more. Children accompanied by an adult are free.

Prepare to come together with scientific researchers, avid citizen scientists, and curious minds passionate about the natural world. You will have the chance to participate in exciting foraging sessions, attend insightful lectures and interactive workshops.

Get ready to immerse yourself in a weekend of fungi, friends and food.

Please note that space is limited and we can not offer reimbursement for cancellations unless someone takes that place. We will make a waitlist if needed.

Please submit your registration form, but hold payment until your registration is confirmed by the Foray NL Treasurer. All additional registration submissions will be added to the waitlist in case someone backs out.
